Because of the current COVID-19 situation, we’re only fitting footwear and orthotics on an appointment basis for the immediate future. But as our regulars know, most of our business has been done this way for years and the online booking system is very easy to use. It also gives Si the chance to contact you before your shop visit should he feel it necessary to obtain more information about your needs. Right now, the lead time for appointments is as high as 2 to 3 weeks but this should settle down a bit in the near future.
Bear in mind that as of Autumn 2020, the supply situation with regard to the quality footwear we sell is challenging to say the least! Demand for walking, running and climbing products in general is unprecedented and virtually all of our manufacturers are struggling to produce enough footwear to go around. This could possibly mean that after appraising your feet and footwear needs, we might lack the most appropriate size and model for you to take with you on the day. There are likely to be viable alternatives but one thing we won’t do is sell you something just for the sake of it – that would comprise our integrity and your enjoyment!
